Sporting Kansas City avoided loss – thanks to Graham Zusi

Sporting Kansas City beat Seattle Sounders at their home pitch. It ended 2-2.

Seattle Sounders trailed in minute 34. Ilie Sánchez made it 1-0. But they equalised after the second additional minute of the first half. That's when Will Bruin netted 1-1 for Seattle Sounders.

Neither of the teams had managed to grab the lead before the half-time break.

The 2-1 goal for Seattle Sounders happened after 72 minutes. Cristian Roldan was the scorer.

When the referee Drew Fischer blew the whistle to end the game, the score was 2-2 on the scoreboard. Graham Zusi netted the equaliser.
